This month, CTOA continued its engagement with representatives from various political backgrounds, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring Canada’s trucking community has a strong voice with decision-makers at all levels. Most recently, we hosted NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh at KJS Transport Inc. in Brampton. Singh’s visit provided an opportunity to discuss critical issues facing our industry, including those raised by our membership, such as the rising fuel and operating costs, the importance of ongoing safety and training supports, and the urgent need for accessible rest stops along highways. Singh recognized the essential role we play in Canada’s supply chain and committed to improving conditions within the industry.
